Jadon Sancho Scout Report At Juventus 2025/2026 - Analysis

Following a season spent at Chelsea, Jadon Sancho returned to Manchester United with one season left in his contract.

Given that the Red Devils are not planning to keep Sancho, as they do not believe he fits Ruben Amorim tactics, the latest rumours suggest that Man United are in advanced negotiations with Juventus to sell their winger to I Bianconeri.

Juventus have been targeting several wingers since the start of this summer transfer window, as they lack quality out wide.

Therefore, acquiring an experienced player like Sancho will undoubtedly represent a significant addition to the team’s attacking capabilities, especially at this time.

Igor Tudor will surely welcome the arrival of such a winger, as he can build with Sancho to create a much more powerful attacking phase.

In this tactical analysis and scout report on one of the best English wingers, we will explore a potential Jadon Sancho Juventus transfer in detail to understand how Tudor tactics can utilise his potential as a new signing and how Sancho can lead Juventus back to finishing in the top spots in Serie A and the UEFA Champions League.

Jadon Sancho Potential Roles At Juventus

Sancho is known especially for his exceptional dribbling skills and explosive runs on both wings, as these are his main traits.

He can add a lot to Juventus’ attacking system, as no winger in the team can be as dangerous as he is, given his long and enriching experiences at clubs like Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United, and Chelsea.

Although no one can deny that Sancho has had periods of ups and downs throughout his career so far, especially due to inconsistency in terms of form, we can expect a powerful first season from Sancho at Juventus, mainly because the rhythm is a bit slower than the EPL and also because Serie A can represent a league in which talented players like Sancho can shine.

That said, Sancho will have to improve his physical strength and work on becoming much more powerful in duels to avoid unnecessary injuries and to be tougher to beat when trying to cut inside.

Sancho has an excellent opportunity to shine in Serie A, mainly because he possesses the skills necessary to succeed in a league that values dribbling skills and where players with good shooting technique and vision can be instrumental.

At the same time, everyone knows that it is more complex in terms of tactics and that players with dribbling abilities are usually subject to tight marking and disturbance from almost every team.

That’s why, if the deal goes through, Sancho will have to quickly adapt to Serie A teams’ playing style to find alternative movements and solutions to each team’s defensive style so that it does not become repetitive or predictable.

Jadon Sancho Radar Chart At Chelsea

The following Jadon Sancho pizza chart further highlights Sancho’s dribbling abilities and the fact that he attempts a lot of dribbles per match.

Nevertheless, the graphic also shows that the winger’s goal contribution rates were relatively low last season with the Blues.

This confirms that Sancho needs more individual and collective work with Tudor to become more impactful and clinical in terms of assists and goalscoring.

The unconvincing goal contribution numbers can also explain Manchester United’s decision to let go of their player and attempt to sell him at the end of this season.

Therefore, Tudor will have to be attentive to how he deals with Sancho as soon as he arrives, given that it will be important to win time and get the player quickly accustomed to the Italian team’s style of play.

Jadon Sancho Pizza Map

The pizza map also showcases Sancho’s excellent passing abilities and his high accuracy rates in this regard.

However, it also shows that Sancho does not provide dangerous passes as often.

This will be an area of improvement to work on with Tudor if he joins Juventus.

At Juventus, Sancho can be perfectly suitable for the left-wing position, whether in Tudor’s 3-4-2-1 formation or his 4-2-3-1 formation.

It is true that Kenan Yıldız is a very promising left winger who is starting to excel in that role.

However, Sancho can compete with him for a starting spot while also remaining very reliable in the right-winger role, whether at the expense of Francisco Conceição or Nicolás González, knowing that Sancho would represent an upgrade on González and can be a starter with Conceição.

Furthermore, Sancho can be very useful if converted to an advanced playmaker in the 4-2-3-1 formation with Yıldız and Conceição on both wings.

Jadon Sancho Heat Map

Jadon Sancho in the more central advanced playmaker role would be the perfect attacking combination for Juventus, as Sancho can prove very dangerous if played in that position.

He has the dribbling talent and penetration skills to play between the lines and create dangerous opportunities, whether for himself or his teammates.

Playing in that advanced midfield position would also guarantee dynamism and remarkable pace for Juventus in all three positions, with Sancho, Yıldız, and Conceição being very dynamic and very powerful in one-on-one attacking duels.

Although the following heat map indicates that Sancho primarily plays on the wings and prefers to cut inside from those areas, it would be beneficial to experiment with him in the advanced playmaker position to see what he can contribute by playing in that role and whether he can become more effective or not.

A similar position can increase his goal contribution rates, primarily through assist-making.

Jadon Sancho Passing Potential

Generally speaking, Sancho holds a passing accuracy rate of 85.2% (85.9% this season).

Moreover, he passes to the final third with an accuracy rate that reaches 84.8% and 74.1% for passes to the penalty box.

These are good enough rates regarding passing; however, he provides 0.22 assists per match on average, with only five assists provided with Chelsea in 31 EPL matches last season.

It is also worth noting that Sancho provided five assists in the UEFA Conference League, bringing his total to 10 for the season.

This number is not bad at all, but it needs to be improved for a player with Sancho’s value, as the expectations for him are higher than 10 assists per season in all competitions combined.

Jadon Sancho Efficiency On The Right-Wing

Sancho can be very useful from the right wing, as he plays with the same efficiency on that side, advancing to the box and often providing accurate crosses or passes.

His ability to provide accurate through passes after fixing the opposing defenders and resisting their disturbance makes him one of the best chance creators from the right wing, despite playing with the right foot and not as an inverted right-winger.

Despite that, he usually succeeds in creating the danger needed by advancing, dribbling past defenders, and trying to cross or pass to an unmarked teammate, as in the following example.

That said, it will be important for him to vary his solutions and alternate them to remain unpredictable, especially in Serie A.

It would be effective to shoot from distance at times, opt for early crosses at other times, penetrate from the right wing, and more.

Jadon Sancho Left-Wing Assist-Making

In addition to his passing abilities from the right wing, Jadon Sancho can be extremely useful on the left thanks to his ability to dribble past opponents even when surrounded by players.

He is intelligent enough to determine when to keep the ball and continue dribbling and when to opt for passing, choosing the appropriate timing.

Being able to do so with accuracy to create opportunities for his teammates, as he did in the following action, should be repeated more frequently if Sancho strives to become a much more dangerous player, especially in terms of goal contribution.

Jadon Sancho Finishing & Goalscoring Potential

When it comes to goalscoring, Sancho scores an average of 0.16 goals per match and shoots 0.98 times per game according to this season’s statistics.

Although his goal-scoring skills are undeniable, we feel that Sancho has not yet reached his full finishing potential, as he is not scoring the average number of goals that suit his abilities.

In 42 games played last season, he only scored five goals despite playing in attacking positions, and that’s a poor number for a player with Sancho’s potential.

In the previous season, he played 24 games and scored only three goals, which confirms that he is inconsistent in terms of goal scoring and needs to be addressed as soon as possible through specific individual work.

Jadon Sancho Curved Shooting Abilities

Despite these facts, Sancho showed some signs of maturity and efficiency in terms of goal scoring as he scored one of his team’s decisive goals in the UEFA Conference League Final against Real Betis.

What is more important than the occasion is how Sancho scored this goal using an outstanding curved shot technique to beat the goalkeeper despite the difficult shooting angle, and after fixing the opposing defenders to find the best possible shooting trajectory.

His curved shots are known for being one of his remarkable landmark actions, and such shots can be beneficial if attempted more consistently with Juventus.

Jadon Sancho Penetrations & Solo-Effort Goal

Moreover, showing up on big occasions is one thing that confirms Sancho’s powerful personality.

As an example, we can mention his solo-effort goal against Tottenham Hotspur, which highlights Sancho’s ability to penetrate inside the opponent’s defence starting from the left wing.

Dribbling past the players he encounters and choosing to shoot from distance at the right timing, Sancho scores one of his best recent goals and confirms that he can be one of the best wingers when he wants to.

Conclusion

Jadon Sancho Juventus transfer could be massive for Juve can be an instrumental player for Juventus.

He is capable of significantly upgrading their attack, especially if he utilises his full potential.

However, the deal can be tricky, as Sancho has previously proven to be inconsistent in terms of form, even though this might be due to an unstable environment, such as that of Manchester United, in previous periods.

In a more stable environment, such as Juventus’s, Sancho will most probably have more chances of success, especially if he receives the necessary and adequate individual coaching.
