SkyBet has revealed that a customer had a £70k accumulator win across Tuesday and Wednesday’s night’s football.
The lucky punter placed £20 on an 18-leg accumulator, which won £69,676.98. It was a bad couple of nights for the bookies as most of the favourites won in the Champions League, Carabao Cup, and Scottish Premiership.

Betis and Chelsea comebacks helped bet win
Of the 18 selections, 16 were favourites with only Aston Villa and Real Betis priced at odds against. Betis twice came from behind to beat Lille 3-2 away on Tuesday night.
The bets ran on to Wednesday, and there were some nervy moments as Chelsea had to come from 2-0 down to beat Leeds 6-3.
Other well-fancied favourites laboured to victory. Celtic won 1-0 at St. Johnstone courtesy of a Mika Baur goal in the 52nd minute.
Arsenal left it later, with Martin Ødegaard scoring the only goal of the game against Napoli in the 75th minute. The tactical analysis revealed Arsenal should have won more comfortably, but the gambler must have been watching in trepidation as the Gunners missed several good chances to get on the scoresheet.

One of the longest odds accumulators to win was a 15-fold at 1,666,666/1. Staffordshire roofer Mick Gibbs placed a 30p stake on the bet to win around half a million pounds. The wager included league winners across English football, rugby, and cricket, and ended with Bayern Munich defeating Valencia on penalties in the Champions League final.
