Sydney van Hooijdonk is a traditional striker who had the basic traits of a target man. He was decent during hold-ups and looked like the focal point up top, especially when playing route one football. He looked to be the player his side aimed for when playing crosses into the box as he does well to get on the end of these balls and convert them into goals. The striker also showcased a poachers instinct when inside the opposition area, getting onto wayward balls and slotting them past the keeper with composure. However, his skill seemed to be a little one-dimensional and his limited technique doesnt help the cause either.
