Born in Marseille, France, on the 23rd of November 1999, Boubacar Kamara is a 22-year-old French footballer who plays for Olympique Marseille in Ligue 1. Kamara was introduced to the Marseille academy when he was just five years old. Having never left the club, Kamara has captained the youth setup at various levels, being added to the Marseille B-team in 2016, and made his debut in the French fourth tier at just 16 years old.
Just over a year later, Rudy Garcia handed him his senior debut in the Europa League. Six weeks later, Kamara made his first appearance in Ligue 1, replacing Patrice Evra in the 1:0 win over Lille. An ankle injury cost him most of the season, but the youngster started the last three games and played 70 minutes in the 2018-19 season.
