Zakaria El Ouahdi has transferred to Genk from RWDM for €2.5m – we scouted the young winger for a client back in March 2023 and tracked him at the end of last season, our TIPPSTER model grading him as being able to make a big impact immediately at Tier 2 level.
Who is Zakaria El Ouahdi?
“Zakaria El Ouahdi is a quick winger who was predominantly deployed on the right wing. He is quite a versatile player who can also be used as a right-wing-back. He is a very direct player and showed a good first touch and pace, which often aided him with his dribbling and forward ball progression. He provides good width to the attack and can drive down the line to deliver crosses into the box. He shows good movement to get into scoring positions and also showcased good finishing skills. Defensively, he tracks back well and also shows the tenacity to win back possession for his team. He is an aggressive presser and does well to close down his opponents.”
