Nathan Wood of Swansea linked to a Russell Martin reunion at Southampton – we first scouted Wood for a client back in August 2022 and tracked him since feeling he could have a good impact for a Tier 1 side, meaning Southampton will be recruiting well if they get him.
Who is Nathan Wood?
“Wood is a solid option for most clubs as a centre-back. In addition, because of his skill when defending, he would become an excellent stopper-back.
Wood is a competent defender and places a greater emphasis on his defensive responsibilities than on the offensive contributions he makes. Consequently, Wood does not pose a significant danger while assaulting, but it might strengthen an adversary’s offensive.
Wood is still extremely young, but he shows signs of developing into a strong and exciting player in the years to come.”
