Who is Japhet Tanganga?
“Japhet Tanganga, a 23-year-old dynamic centre-back, primarily uses his physique and defensive alertness to control the game. He typically carries the ball through the right, delivering diagonal balls to switch the wing, and is always confident with the ball in his hands. He is a player who can perform well higher up the pitch and move from box to box. He makes excellent receiving plays and deflects the ball to the moving channel with his initial touch.
In 1v1 situations, he dominates with power and poise and holds the ground firmly to make effective blocks. He is an aggressive player defensively. With excellent energy, he never hesitates to counter-press the opposition. He is young and has the potential to play for clubs with more intensity in the future.”
