The teenage right back Ivan Fresneda of Real Valladolid is rumoured to join Arsenal or Sporting this window – we scouted Fresneda back in April 2023 and felt that he was already capable of moving to a bigger Tier 1 team and competing for regular minutes.
Who is Ivan Fresneda?
“Fresneda is a balanced right back who has decent quality offensively but looked more effective in the defensive phase.
At a very young age, Fresneda shows character and resolve. He is already playing at the highest level and with his technical and physical abilities, can continue doing so. Perhaps he could express himself more in attack, and it would make him even more dangerous, whilst increasing his team’s usage of the right flank. He has great crossing technique and can look to put more balls into the box. He is also quick which makes him difficult to beat 1v1. His decision-making needs to improve which will aid him in his offensive and defensive duties.”
