One of the Deadline Day deals that slipped under the radar was Andrew Omobamidele being snapped up by Forest from Norwich xGOLD identified Omobamidele as an interesting profile at the start of last season and we scouted him throughout the campaign, believing he was ready for the step up to a Tier 1 league.
Who is Andrew Omobamidele?
Andrew Omobamidele is a very aggressive and tough centre-back who makes his presence known with an aggressive playing style and dominates rivals in individual duels. Hes tall but still fast to defend spaces. His mobility isnt especially good so he needs to challenge rivals early and prevent them from running at him. On the ball, he picks good options and can progress with relatively simple passes. Not fantastic but does well in the build-up. Still young and can develop to play at a higher level.
