Long-term TFA Scouted favourite Andrej Ilic finally gets his move, signing for Valerenga in Norway from Rigas – data originally led us to Ilic in February 2022 and we’ve reported on him five times since, believing he was ready for a Tier 4 league.
“Andrej Ilic predominantly featured like a target man and the team benefited from his imposing figure. He got involved in build-up plays and looked to play quick passes to move his team higher up the pitch. His touches on the ball when he was under pressure could have been better and also needs to work on his first-time passes. He took up key positions inside the box and carried a goal threat with him but his lack of mobility restricted his movement at times. He demonstrated good finishing abilities but needs to be more efficient. He was a threat in the air as well.
Defensively, he did a decent job but he can show more aggression and intensity with his off-the-ball work.”
