Week 10 of the Premier League 21/22 season will see Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United go up against each other once again in the final game of Saturday afternoon.
Of course, the time slot that has been provided to this fixture will mean that there are a number of fans around the world that will be able to tune in and watch their favourite team look to finally get back on track in regards to the league.
Indeed, both teams have been struggling recently and it would seem both sides could look to use the fixture as a platform to kick start their campaigns once again after some disappointing results.
However, when taking a look at the latest odds, it would seem Manchester United are favourites as they are priced 7/5 to overcome the hosts by Betway Sportsbook in this match. It is only a slight advantage, though.
Naturally, that will hardly come as a surprise given the Red Devils’ most recent result in the Premier League. The 5-0 home defeat to Liverpool will have left everyone shell shocked and there will be a huge amount of pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his players to put in a performance and get a result when they make the trip to the capital.
As mentioned, Tottenham have not been in the best form recently, either, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s team currently struggling themselves to put together a string of positive results.
Admittedly, they did manage to pick up wins against Aston Villa and Newcastle United following their own embarrassing defeat to Arsenal in the north London derby, but they have found it incredibly hard to be consistent.
Spurs lost in the UEFA Europa League to Vitesse Arnhem in a match that they should have won, whilst they were also beaten in another classic London derby when they were beaten by a better West Ham United side at the London Stadium. They have managed to progress in the Carabao Cup, though, since then and will want to take that momentum forward.
When looking at the availability of players, Spurs will be without Ryan Sessengon as he continues to deal with a hamstring injury, whilst the win against Burnley in the Cup will have come at a cost as Bryan Gil had to be withdrawn early with a muscle problem, thus leaving him doubtful.
United will be without Paul Pogba following his red card against Liverpool, although Raphael Varane could provide his team with a major boost as he is back in training and in contention to play in what is being dubbed a must-win game for the Red Devils.
