Premier League 2020/21: Manchester United vs Chelsea – tactical analysis tactics

The Premier League is the richest football league in the world. This tournament is said to be one of the most competitive on the planet. Over the years, many world-class players have excelled. They deliver some memorable moments and leave their mark on Premier League history. Currently, there is no shortage of quality players in the Premier League.

They always receive special attention from all fans, media and betting circles. Because their presence has an important meaning, contributing to deciding the victory or defeat of the team during the season. If you love one of them, you can visit Kubet bookies for the latest betting offers and bet on them.

The following article is a list of the 10 best players in the top English league at the moment.

10. Romelu Lukaku – Chelsea

Romelu Lukaku is one of the hottest strikers at the moment. After two successful seasons with Serie A champions Inter Milan, the Belgian is back in the Premier League with Chelsea.

He scored on his second debut with the club as Chelsea beat Arsenal 2-0. It was Lukaku’s 114th goal in the Premier League. The strike was the first in more than two years since the Belgian overtook Wright to become the 20th highest goalscorer in the tournament.

Incidentally, it was Lukaku’s first goal in 11 Premier League games for Chelsea. The Belgian could be the spark that the defending Champions League champions need to warm up to this season.

9. Paul Pogba – Manchester United

Paul Pogba is finally living with the hype after returning to Manchester United in the summer of 2016. After a dazzling Euro 2020 campaign for France this summer, Pogba put in an impressive display in the opening game. Premier League 2021-2022. He scored an incredible four assists in United’s 5-1 home win over Leeds United.

In terms of the 28-year-old’s qualities, his 29 goals and 39 assists in 139 Premier League games seem pretty poor. However, Pogba has had a brilliant start to the 2021-2022 campaign. The Red Devils have also done well in the transfer market this summer and Pogba could very well win his first Premier League title. If the Frenchman keeps his form, it could help United end a nearly decade-long drought in the competition.

8. Jorginho – Chelsea

Jorginho is one of the best defensive midfielders in world football at the moment. After the Champions League win with Chelsea last season, Jorginho also played a key role in Italy’s Euro 2020 winning campaign.

Like his clubmate N’Golo Kante, Jorginho doesn’t score many goals or contribute too many goals. But he has excelled from the penalty spot, with all of his seven Premier League goals last season coming from penalties.

A contender for this year’s UEFA Player of the Year (POTY) award, Jorginho is wrapping up 100 Premier League appearances since arriving at Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2018.

7. Ruben Dias – Manchester City

The 24-year-old has become a key player in Manchester City’s defense, as Pep Guardiola’s men won their third league title in four years.

In 32 Premier League appearances, Dias has helped Man City keep 15 clean sheets. The Portuguese were especially brilliant at the end of the season when Man City overcame the chasing group.

Thanks to his achievements, Dias won the Premier League Player of the Year award and became the first Portuguese player to do so since Cristiano Ronaldo in 2008. Incidentally, Dias is the player first of the Premier League to win this award since Kelvin Phillips in 2000.

Despite his incredible feats between 2020-2021, Dias endured a miserable Euro 2020 campaign with Portugal. But that may just be a misnomer as the Portuguese defender prepares for another major Premier League campaign.

6. N’Golo Kante – Chelsea

N’Golo Kante has not looked back after playing a key role in Leicester City’s inevitable victory in the 2015-2016 Premier League.

Chelsea immediately possessed the defensive midfielder, who won the Premier League, Champions League, Europa League, FA Cup, and UEFA Super Cup in five seasons at the club. In the midst of a series of leadership changes at the club during that period, the Frenchman is often one of the first names in Chelsea’s standings.

The 30-year-old, considered one of the best defensive midfielders in the game at the moment, won the 2018 FIFA World Cup with Les Bleus. He was also one of Chelsea’s best players in the Champions League win over Manchester City last season.

Kante, who has already made over 150 Premier League appearances for Chelsea, is just five games away from making his 200th appearance in the competition.

5. Virgil van Dijk – Liverpool

Virgil Van Dijk has been a key player for Liverpool since arriving at the club more than three years ago. The Dutchman is considered by many to be one of the best central defenders in the game. He has played every league game for Liverpool and helped the club win its first English top-flight title in three decades last year.

A late-season injury early last season. His absence has led to Liverpool’s dismal title defense campaign. Van Dijk returned to action this season in the Reds’ 3-0 win over Norwich on opening day. His impact in the Premier League was such that Liverpool won 72 of the 95 games Van Dijk played for them.

4. Bruno Fernandes – Manchester United

Bruno Fernandes has had a brilliant start in the UK top flight. In just a season and a half at Manchester United, the 26-year-old has racked up 43 goals in 82 games. 29 of those goals have occurred in the Premier League.

Fernandes is the club’s designated penalty taker and also an expert fixer. He opened his account in the 2021-2022 Premier League by scoring his first hat-trick for the Reds as he gears up for another big campaign.

3. Harry Kane – Tottenham Hotspur

Harry Kane is arguably one of the best strikers in the Premier League at the moment. Last season, the England striker had one of the best campaigns of his career. He topped both the goal scoring and assists charts with 23 goals and 14 assists.

The England international, who scored four goals in England’s Euro 2020 final, has racked up an impressive 166 Premier League goals, all for Spurs. Despite strong interest from Manchester City, Kane remains open to staying at Spurs for the 2021-2022 campaign.

Harry Kane is always the most overrated striker in the world, on Pep Guardiola’s favorite list. Do not forget follow and bet on him with Kubet bookmaker now.

2. Mohamed Salah – Liverpool

Mohamed Salah has been the top scorer in the Premier League since he arrived in the English top-flight four years ago. The Egyptian opened his account in the 2021-2022 edition of the competition by scoring in Liverpool’s opening day 3-0 win over Norwich City.

That makes Salah the first player to score in the first five games in a row in Premier League history. The Liverpool forward, who scored on his league debut against Watford on the opening day of the 2017-18 season, is now just four goals away from scoring 100 goals in the competition.

1. Kevin De Bruyne – Manchester City

Kevin De Bruyne is arguably the best midfielder of the match at the moment. Manchester City and Belgium’s midfield metronome have consistently produced impressive performances for club and country for some time.

The 30-year-old, who has played almost 200 Premier League games, is the crown jewel in Pep Guardiola’s densely assembled Manchester City team. The Craftsman King has amassed an incredible century of assists across the league for the Sky Blues. De Bruyne has played an undeniably important role in three Premier League wins over the past four years.

De Bruyne’s best season in the Premier League came in 2019-2020 when he scored 13 goals and assisted 20 times. However, Man City was beaten by Liverpool to win the title that season.

Conclusion

The above is a list of the best players in the Premier League at the moment. We hope that our sharing will be useful to you.
