There could be a lot of changes to take place at Real Madrid this summer, with a huge overhaul set to take place.
Los Blancos could still win the La Liga title – although their destiny is in the hands of fierce neighbours and rivals, Atletico Madrid – whilst they also reached the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.
By many teams standards, that is not bad going, however when it is Real Madrid, it is considered rather poor.
Indeed, there is already talk surrounding the future of coach, Zinedine Zidane, as there is continued speculation about whether he will be at the Santiago Bernabeu for the upcoming campaign. There have been a number of names linked with the job should the legend leave, with former club icon Raul Gonzalez tipped for the job, as is Massimiliano Allegri.
However, regardless of who is in charge of Real Madrid this summer, it would seem Florentino Perez wants to see a number of changes to the playing squad, with a plethora being lined up for the sales.
According to Spanish publication AS, there are 10 players who are thought to have been made available for a transfer this summer as Los Blancos look to try and recoup some of the money that they will have lost this season whilst also clear expensive flops from the books. Indeed, Hungarian bettors can look to place a wager on who they think might be leaving the club when they find a top sportsbook to use via sportfogadas.net.
One flop that has been suggested will be transfer listed this summer is Eden Hazard as the former Chelsea man has failed to produce the kind of performances that earned him a move away from Stamford Bridge a couple of years ago. There will be many Real Madrid fans that would likely be happy to see the back of the Belgian as he was seen being far too happy for his former team when they met in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.
Other players include individuals such as Raphael Varane, who could fetch some big money in with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain all said to be keen, whilst those earning high wages such as Gareth Bale, Isco and Marco Asensio could also be offloaded if buyers can be found.
Furthermore, other players could include iconic figure Marcelo, and fringe players such as Luka Jovic, Mariano Diaz and Borja Mayoral.
Dani Ceballos is expected to return to Real Madrid from Arsenal after a tw0-year loan spell, but that is not expected to save him from the chop this summer as Real Madrid continue to look to raise funds for current wages, their transfer budgets and potentially their overall financial health.
