A great learning tool for analysts
Total Football Analysis Magazine is a great learning tool for analysts, coaches and anyone with an interest in the tactical side of the game. The insights offered are valuable and importantly the articles are well written with relevant images which ensures the analysis is clear and easy to understand.
Robert Smith // Lead Academy Analyst – Notts County
A football analysis magazine that I could actually understand and relate to in a practical manner
It was great to read a football analysis magazine that I could actually understand and relate to in a practical manner. In recent years much analysis has become pseudoscientific and the working coach can not apply it to training or the game. This magazine not only illustrates analysis from the Premier League but also shows that there is quality work happening all over the world including Asia. A great asset to any young (or old!) coaches’ library.
Steve Darby // Head Coach – various, including Laos, Thailand and the Matildas
Would serve as a template for any scout compiling a dossier on a prospective recruit
Really enjoying the July edition. Exemplary player report on Amandine Henry that would serve as a template for any scout compiling a dossier on a prospective recruit.
Enjoyed the discussion on the merits of a diamond midfield and how Villas Boas sets up his sides.
John O’Dwyer // Opposition Scout – Cardiff City
Great insight into how different managers analyse the game
Just wanted to say I really enjoyed the new magazine Total Football Analysis – it gives a great insight into how different managers analyse the game and put their philosophies into action through training methodology and practice.
Michael Flynn // Head Coach – Newport County AFC
