After months of hard work, you may have noticed that we now have a new website for TFA!
We have fixed many of the issues readers were complaining about and added a ton of new features that are explained below.
If you notice any bugs, please let us know so we can fix them ASAP!
Fixed User Accounts
You should now be able to manage your account via logging in.
Now you can change your email and password and update your subscription all in one place.
If you forgot your password, you can reset your password or log in with Google.
We will also add Facebook and X login soon.
We had to merge the accounts to fix the old site’s problems, so if you previously had a paid subscription but can’t log in, please email us so we can fix it for you.
New Content 7 Days A Week
With the new site, we are also now producing new tactical analysis content 7 days a week.
Previously, we had new content 5-6 days a week.
With the new TFA schedule, that is around 60 new articles a month and 720 articles a year.
More Coaching Content
In addition to new content 7 days a week, we are trying to do more coaching content since many TFA readers are coaches.
If there is specific coaching content you want, please let us know.
Search By Formation
We have added “formations” as a category, so now if you want to search for a specific type of formation, you can see all the articles related to that specific formation like all 4-3-3 Formation articles
Article Requests
TFA is made for YOU, the reader, so if you have content you want to see on specific players, teams, or formations, please let us know by email.
Our Editor will still make the final decision on content, but we will try to focus on content that readers care about or want analyzed.
Refocus On European Leagues
Most TFA readers are from the UK, EU, and USA and are interested in European football, so we are refocusing more on the European leagues.
We will still cover random things from J-League or South America, but 90% of future content will focus on Europe because that is what TFA readers want. If you disagree, please let us know.
With our new focus on Europe, we are trying to provide deeper coverage on lower leagues and teams by having certain writers cover only those topics. For example, we now have a writer exclusively covering the EFL Championship.

TFA Is On Substack
TFA is also now on Substack.
The content is the same as the main TFA site, but if you have a subscription account, we can link it to your paid TFA account so you can also access all TFA posts there. Just email us.
Comments Section Coming Soon
We are going to add the ability to leave comments on articles so you can share feedback right away.
We just need to make sure we can stop the spam and bots before releasing it.
TFA Mobile App
We are still working on a mobile app, but unsure when it will be done.
The priority has been fixing the main site before launching 2 new mobile apps (iPhone & Android).
Fantasy Premier League
You probably have noticed the recent Fantasy Premier League articles.
We had no idea that FPL was such a huge thing played by millions around the world.
Many TFA readers use our analysis for fantasy football, so we have launched a once-a-week fantasy football series to give FPL tips and advice to readers.
TFA Affiliate Program
TFA now has an affiliate program. If you are a content creator or have an audience, you can sign up for the Total Football Analysis affiliate program and get paid to refer people to TFA.
TFA YouTube Channel
We have been working on relaunching the Total Football Analysis YouTube channel.
It is still a work in progress as we figure out the best way to translate our tactical analysis articles into video.

Stopped TFA Magazine
You may have noticed that we stopped the TFA magazine in January.
It was a hard decision, but the reason was because no one was reading it in PDF format.
We are still producing the magazine articles every month, but they will be posted on the site as normal articles since more people read them that way.
We may still produce special magazines for big events like the World Cup or the Euros.
Full Paywall
Finally, you may have noticed that the paywall is now back up.
Running TFA as a fully independent football magazine is no easy task.
We have server bills and an entire team of 20+ people writing content behind the scenes, so we have decided to go full paywall with no free tier.
When we offered the free tier, people took advantage of it by creating fake accounts.
